Phone ranting time!

Ever since I had a phone (which was my Junior year of high school) I have only upgraded my phone once on the time when my contract was up. I would always find a new phone that I liked and would go and purchase a used one until I was tired of that phone. From US Cellular I have had four different phones and of those only one was an upgrade. I have had one phone from AT&T and I disliked it from the day that I got it. I have recently switched to Verizon and have enjoyed their service (unless I am at school...then I will be happy just to have a signal). I have only one phone so far from them but have already started looking at a new phone. Mind you, I just got this phone in December. I generally enjoy the more complicated phones with all the new types of capabilities. The one I have now is wonderful but it isn't as savvy as I generally like. But the one that I would really like is the Droid Eris by HTC. The thing is I would never have gotten it since I would have to purchase it at full price (~$500) and that is a lot of money for a phone. Luckily, one of my professors has it and wants to switch phones since it does not do what she wanted it to do (or what it was advertised to do when she bought it). So, if things work out I will have a new phone. :D

You know...I had a pretty long rant going on here. But this is public and the wrong person can find it and use it against me. I will be good and keep it to myself but rant to someone I know I can trust.

Other than that. This weekend was highly productive. Got lab reports done, homework done, and even started this blog.

First One-Future Camera

I never know what to put as my first post for any of these things. I had trouble trying to figure out what to post as my first xanga post, first myspace post, facebook, and twitter. My plan for this site however, is to use as a journal. Specifically for the rest of my time at school and for when I go to London in January 2011. I guess I will also use it to put picture posts from when I purchase my camera. Which I think I will dedicate my first post to.

I have always wanted to get a camera, ever since I had my first camera (that unfortunately broke when one of my cousins in Mexico dropped it). I even bought a film camera that I liked but then realized it was a piece of crap. The film that I it required I could never find and when I did find it the camera would not want to work. Instead I have decided to purchase a DSLR, specifically a Nikon D3000. I found a good deal at BestBuy. It comes with a bag and an extra lens. I plan on getting it this summer so I can have it for the start of my senior year of college. I have already have pictures that I want to take (have been thinking of the best position and time of day to take them).
